| Information: | The FULDA HIGH-TECH EMOTIONS TRAIN is equipped with an original Marklin engine of the 182 series (a high-quality digital version), carrying the Fulda High-tech Emotions Truck design. This makes the high-quality locomotive a most conspicuous piece, and a unique collector‘s piece. that also goes for the four Herpa trucks that have been produced exclusively for this train set. The four truck models demonstrate, in a modern way, the history of Fulda’s promotional trucks. They are transported on four low-body wagons that are typically used for transporting loaded trucks. The story behind it all: for twenty years, show trucks have been a tradition at the high-tech tire company from Fulda, Germany – and again and again, Fulda’s ambitious activities were accompanied by lavishly executed Herpa miniature trucks. The last of these highlights in truck history was the Fulda High-tech Emotions Trucks, which Fulda tires had developed by a team of designers and engineers to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The result was a truly unique vehicle that has been unmatched around the globe – but it matches perfectly to Fulda’s claim to “German High Technology”. After a construction time of only two years, Fulda presented a truck that melted the best of the most advanced truck technology, design of luxury coaches, convenient handling in everyday life, and elements from the sports car segment. All that was united in a vehicle that received an incredible design, and many car drivers simply stopped when they spotted it, to take a closer look. The Herpa model sports each and every detail of the original, and just tike the real truck, it can spread the two parts of its trailer, to allow the integrated stage to be unfolded, which is used on many occasions whenever Fulda Tires goes public. | Information: | Based on the cooperative spirit born during the longstanding cooperation with the Herpa Wings colleagues, KAMAG Transporttechnik GmbH & Co. KG from Ulm (formerly KÖGEL-KAMAG) and Herpa have developed a surprisingly beautiful gem for friends of the smallest scale. KAMAG’s range of products consists of vehicles specialized in transporting heavy and bulky loads, mostly within the limits of company areas. KAMAG is one of the world’s leaders in the production of custom-made high-quality vehicles, especially in cases where reliability and precision are top priorities. Even the US air space authority NASA uses KAMAG vehicles for transporting its space shuttles on the ground. The train in this set transports KAMAG TowBear TT towing trucks of the latest generation. The towing trucks were designed in close cooperation with airlines, ground handling companies, and maintenance companies. This complete transport train set consists of eleven original Marklin and Herpa models, all in the 1/220 scale (Z-track). The Taurus locomotive carries a promotional KAMAG paint scheme. The engine and the transport wagons are original Marklin MiniClub models. The load, all original Herpa models, consists of three KAMAG TowBear TT models sporting the colors of the airports in Vienna (yellow), Hamburg, and Berlin (white), plus two silver Mercedes Benz Actros trailers with a promotional KAMAG design. This exceptional wonder of miniature model building, a masterpiece of technology, will be a genuine jewel – on your model railroad just as well as in the glass cabinet. The KAMAG transport train can be ordered until February 15, 2005. Since the International Toy Fair 2003, Herpa has surprised the collector’s community time and again with its lavishly designed train sets.They have become gems, providing new impulses to the model train business as a whole.
